"Fantastic location, near to everything"
Stayed at this hotel for my birthday and new year, although the hotel was in a fantastic location our room backed on to an alley way that was really noisy from about 5.30 every morning, the Windows could do with replacing and then maybe you could sleep better, the whole hotel could do with a massive make over but to be honest we was not in our rooms long enough to worry about the decor, it was clean with clean towels daily, overall a really pleasant stay apart from lack of sleep. Hotel restaurant and bar next door were good value as guests enjoyed 20% off of menu and drinks.

"Perfect location for younger people."
My wife and i stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Located in a perfect spot for everything. Now if you are light sleepers and on the older side that doesn't like the late night life then this place is not for you. Not saying its bad but you do have street and bar noise late night. The room was cozy and the whole place was very clean. Every one of the staff was very nice and helped in everything we needed. The pub connected one ground floor was really cool and a great place to party day or night. This will be OUR place to stay everytime we go back.

"Amazing location"
The hotel was is in the perfect location for anyone wanting to cram all the tourist sightseeing in. Just off of O'Connell street, everything is easy to get to. The rooms were very basic and dated but had everything you needed for a short weekend. The beds were very uncomfortable, so these could be improved. Overall, great location, basic room but you get what you pay for.

Excellent location near The Spire. Walking distance from most major attractions. Room was very small, but clean. Be aware, that this is a 5 floor lodge with no elevator.

"For the price, very good value for money"
This is an older, small hotel and although it has none of the "bells and whistles", the central location, friendliness of the owner and staff and their desire to accomodate guests needs was paramount. The shower in the small bathroom could have been better (poor flow) but everything spotlessly clean and the bedroom provided a very comfortable night's sleep. Although advertised, there was no telephone in the room.

"Short Weekend Stay"
I booked a 3 bed room last minute for a weekend in Dublin with a few mates. The hotel had everything you needed for a short stay. The room was comfortable for the most part, the beds where easy to sleep in and the maid service changes the sheets on a daily basis. The bathroom was more basic, but for a short stay it was adequate. Again, the towels are changed daily. Breakfast is available but the options are limited. Either a cereal, a small bowl of fruit and a small or large Irish breakfast. The bar is good if you want to start of the night with a couple of drinks before heading out or like us; watching El Classico and Liverpool vs Man City at the same time! The hot chicken wings is a bargain for a quick snack. They even allow you to choose what hot sauce out of 10 options (with no. 10 coming with its own medical/legal disclaimer to fill out before eating). Bar prices are quite reasonable as well. From start to finish, the staff was very friendly and very helpful – especially if you need to check in late at night and check out early in the morning. Any questions or recommendations for what to do in Dublin or how to get to a certain location.
