"Family get together"
Pleasant hotel in a good location, a little tired in some areas but others were good. A perfect location for our requirements, away from the main waterfront area but an easy walk into town. One of our criteria was a pool and this one was just right. We were a family of 5 couples in our 50's and 60's with one 9 year old so a family friendly hotel was a must. The food was good, especially the breakfast which provided plenty of choice buffet style, the breakfast sausages and mushrooms were particularly good.

"Best B&B"
This is one of the best B&B's I have stayed in. The room was spacious, clean, nice big on-suite bathroom with clean linen. The hosts were great and the breakfast was superb. Made to feel at home. Strongly recommend the Stanley Guest House

"Friendly, welcoming, homely hotel in Abbotsbury"
We only needed a room for the night but feel we stumbled on a Jewell of a hotel in Abbotsbury Close to the beautiful Jurasic Coast. There was a welcoming log fire in the hotel lounge and we were greeted by very friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed a hearty Breakfast in the morning. We would certainly recommend this hotel. Hope we can stay longer Next time.

"Cosy, comfy hotel in beautiful location"
We love this hotel for its charm and location. A very relaxing, getting away from it all, sort of place. Great for families, totally catered for on the kids front, which is why we are returning with our whole family. With Elemis beauty treatments and indoor pool on offer, baby listening service and in house dining, it caters for everyone.

"One Night Stay"
This is a lovely guest house sandwiched between the sea at the front and the river at the back. Our room looked over the river right onto an old fashioned sailing galleon, The Pelican, which was beautiful and interesting. When we went down to breakfast we sat in the bay window at the front looking over Weymouth bay. Breakfast was excellent. What a beautiful place to stay. Karen, the landlady, was very friendly and welcoming. She provided a Parking Permit which enabled us to park in the nearby streets at no charge - which was an added bonus. We would certainly stay here again if in the area.

"Nice stay, thank you."
Stayed here for one night 15/10/16, booked at very short notice as found ourselves in a nightmare hotel on Weymouth prom and needed to find alternative accommodation in an emergency! Check in was quick and easy, staff friendly and room was clean and comfortable. Good facilities in room and breakfast the following morning was excellent. Overall, a lovely stay in a comfy quiet room. Shame we couldn't sample the meals in the bar in the evening as we had a prior engagement already organised. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend. We had the room with the spa bath in the room, this did seem odd, but booking last minute there isn't much choice around. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the bath itself. I had never used one and thought it would send out cold air bubbles, but in fact it got warmer and was a welcome treat for my aching back and neck from the previous nights sleep on a horrible bed at the other hotel. Also, I was worried there would end up being a lot of steam in the bedroom, but it wasn't an issue at all even though it was a chilly afternoon. Over all, would advise people not to be put off at all by it, and I would book the same room again if/when we visit our friends in Weymouth again in the future. Thanks for a great stay.

"Short weekend break "
The B&B is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Weymouth. The room was ideal and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in away from home in a long time. A proper breakfast completed the deal and was just what the start of the day needed. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend in a heartbeat.
