Eventually we went to the store room ourselves to find some clean sheets to make our own bed. The dish washer made strange noises, didn't clean anything but did smell of electrical burning. The washing machine was even worse for the noise and left clothing dripping wet. Wardrobe handles had obviously broken in the past but instead of replacing them they just sealed the holes off and had to grip the surrounding edges to open/close. There was a single frying pan supplied in the kitchen area, which was the smallest pan in the world (it struggled to accommodate a single fried egg!) - the location is great and the view from the balcony is lovely, but the place just feels very tired and instead of things getting fixed they get bodged. Staff are lovely but unfortunately, ineffective."
