Good, clean, elegant and well run modest hotel. There are limited services in the room. Personally I would have liked some tea or coffee making facilities in the room - one bottle of water plus two glasses was a bit minimalist for me. The proprietor, Monika, is a wonderful person who is very hands on and ensures a certain comforting Germanic efficiency percolates the whole place.
Very nice hotel, spotless everywhere. Great pool and awesome restaurant a little pricey but you have to pay for quality. You do have to pay for cabs as the roads around the hotel are not safe to walk but the cabs are very cheap

Overall, a really nice hotel. It was in a great location. A 10 minute walk to the train station, and 10 minutes to the main plaza with lots of fantastic restaurants. The air conditioner worked really well, which was important since the temps were near 40C. I only gave the room a 3 for comfort because the bed was 2 twins pushed together. They slid apart easily on the laminate floor. The room would have received a 4 if the bed was an actual King or even a Queen.
"Lovely, gracious hotel,welcoming and comfortable"
This hotel and its delightful staff made all the difference to our visit to Jerez to see the famous dancing horses. I am an Australian grandmother, visiting Europe to keep my grandsons company during the school holidays in Paris, where they live. This was part of our adventure trip and we loved this hotel for its kindly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful pool and perfect location. Their restaurant served wonderful local food on a shady verandah and generously catered for our Coeliac dietary requirements, without any fuss. What a treat it all was! Our thanks to all the staff, and a recommendation for others who are visiting Jerez to stay at Hotel Villa Jerez.

hotel and golf course are very good, but unless you are just playing golf you will be a little isolated. need to take or hire a car to get the best from the area. the course management could be a little better, the bunkers aren't the best and the watering policy needs to be reviewed, to wet under foot most of the time, and don't change the pin positions often enough.
The area around the Hotel is elegant and easy to drive around, and the Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Horse Show venue, and the Sherry Bodegas centres. The Hotel is really well appointed, and extremely comfortable. There are lovely terraces and a swimming pool. A large car park is available which is free to residents. The coffee bar serves snacks and drinks all day, and the restaurant is excellent.....although it would be a shame not to go into Jerez and experience the atmosphere there in the evening. The breakfast was, I think, the best we had in our tour of Spain, and a cook will do any cooked breakfast you like fresh for you. Excellent...highly recommended.

An attractive little town, Jerez is famous for sherry (a corruption of its name) and its equestrian school. Several bodegas invite visitors to see how sherry is made. The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art is open to the public daily to watch training, with a show every Thursday. The big annual event is the Spring Horse Fair where the mounted sherry barons are prominent. Also see the 11th-century walls of the old Moorish palace.
