I stayed in this hotel for four nights. It is very nice hotel, big room, comfortable, and clean. The hotel is within walking distance to University of Maryland. Opposite to the hotel, there are Taco Bell, Dennis, and 7-11. Thus easy to buy food. I also walked from this hotel to the nearby subway station taking about 20 mins. Overall, this is a very nice hotel. I will definitely stay there next time when visiting University of Maryland.
There's a lot more to this college town than the University of Maryland, and guests at our College Park hotel can enjoy …More
Most of the building was under construction so you pay for the amenities that you do not have access too. Also I think the most disappointing thing was the water barely got hot it was warm at best. And lastly the carpets were really dirty and what things that were updated was done with no pride
NEED TO HAVE MORE CHANNELS ON THE TV SO I COULD HAVE WATCHED THE FOOD CHANNELS.THE HOTEL WAS GREAT.YOU NEED TO HAVE A PLACE TO GET MORE FOOD AND YOU NEED TO HAVE ROOM SERVICE TO GET AL LEAST SOMETHING TO DRINK IF YOU COULD NOT GET ANY FOOD.
It's a Holiday Inn, so you'll get a good hotel for not a lot of money. I've stayed there many times on business trips and have never been too disappointed. My only problem with the hotel is their exercise facilities. They only have a couple of treadmills and a bike, I think. The hot tub is permanently closed, for some reason, and the pool is nice. Other than that, you'll enjoy your stay.
We wanted a room in which to crash after a day of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable, the room was more than roomy. Their breakfast was a bit disappointing--out of orange juice one day, yogurt another day.
Pocket Guide: Langley Park College Park, MD Hotels
As its name suggests, College Park is a college town. Many locals are affiliated with the University of Maryland, a colonial, red-brick campus set amid 1,250 acres of rolling greenery. Nearby, the College Park Aviation Museum operates on the grounds where Wilbur Wright taught military aviation. The National Archives’ local research facility contains Richard Nixon’s presidential materials.
