Charles was there to greet us when we arrived and he was so pleasant and professional. We checked in late and I saw him again in the morning. He was very helpful and kind. Even when I called a few times asking questions before arriving, I was always greeted by someone eager to help. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Washington, DC and about 40 minutes with traffic. The rooms are very nice. The lobby and hallways not so much. No hairdryer in my room. Besides that, everything was great. There is free continental breakfast, fred parking, free wifi and a free shuttle to the metro station. I just drove to Washington. Overall a great experience and I would recommend.
Hotel is not very colorful but its cleanliness and room sizing matches a 4 star hotel. Not munch services but I got my questions answered. I was amazed at the free breakfast - no frills but very well served. The breakfast is much more than expected. I had always stayed in Best Western and will continue to do so.
It's a lower budget Holiday Inn, but not at all bad. The staff is very nice and friendly. The check-in was efficient and easy. They lose a lot of points for the pool and exercise areas. Pool is open and fairly nice, but the hot tub is permanently closed and an eye sore. Exercise room is 2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals, nothing more. Pretty sad. Room was very nice. Mattress was a little worn out, but not terrible. Clean bathroom, but the recessed lights were falling out of their sockets.
I've been staying at Ho-Joe's around the Country since back in the 90's, always Love there Everything, well other than the Pricing up in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, I for other reasons seem to be coming up a lot shorter than I used to back in the Day, I'm just trying to Finish a Book and hopefully be able to gain some grounds again after my recently coming out of a coma
As its name suggests, College Park is a college town. Many locals are affiliated with the University of Maryland, a colonial, red-brick campus set amid 1,250 acres of rolling greenery. Nearby, the College Park Aviation Museum operates on the grounds where Wilbur Wright taught military aviation. The National Archives’ local research facility contains Richard Nixon’s presidential materials.
