The Leo Grand has a lot of appeal. The design is great, the location is perfect. Wonderful high quality beds and linens and lovely Penhaligons toiletries. Breakfast was included booking via Expedia and that was a big plus as otherwise it’s quite expensive. The covered and heated courtyard which also serves as the dining room plays music til late ish as the restaurant is busy and fun - but I wouldn’t book a room overlooking the courtyard for fear it would be noisy. Our room faced the street outward and was blissfully peaceful.

Lovely welcoming staff. Very comfortable and so much nicer than a chain hotel. Live classical music on Sunday afternoons is a very nice touch. Near some good restaurants and within walking distance of most attractions.

The hotel was in a perfect location for a weekend exploring Vienna. Our flight was delayed and hotel staff were great at communicating with us regarding late check in. The hotel was right by Votivkirche and the surrounding area had great restaurants and bars. It was also close to a big tram and train station/stop, although you could also walk into the very heart of the city within 15/20 mins. The hotel was quiet and the room was good for the weekend. The staff were helpful when needed - they were there between 07.00-19.00 and could be contacted via Whatsapp out of hours. The only issue we faced was that our shower was either really cold or scolding hot and could only get a decent temperature for about 60 seconds at a time. Would highly recommend this hotel to people looking for weekend breaks in the city.
