Golfing

Turkey is now also well-established as a golfing destination, boasting 16 international standard courses and new openings planned in Belek, Bodrum, Dalaman and Cappadocia for 2008. Not only does Turkey benefit from a fantastic range of international standard golf courses and excellent year-round climate, but it also enjoys the added high standards of service and accommodation and good value for money The resort of Belek, on the Mediterranean coast, just 30 km from Antalya, is at the heart of Turkish golf, with two spectacular new resorts due to open in 2008, one designed by world-famous Colin Montgomerie and the other by Nick Faldo. There are also golf courses situated in the environs of Istanbul and Ankara.

Water Sports

Turkey is ideal for those who love water sports with its abundance of sandy beaches, warm climate and spectacular coastline. Cesme, Foca and Bitez near Izmir all offer excellent conditions for wind-surfing.
