Some issues with hotel

The hotel was okay. However, when I checked in, they didn’t have the right number of beds that had been requested. They quickly remedied this, but they forgot to make our wake-up call to the new room. The town of Oranmore, which the hotel is located on the outskirts of, is very charming, and is not too far from Galway or Rosaveel, where you can catch the ferry out to the Aran Islands. The pool facility was nice, but if you’re there for leisure, you might be crowded out by the lap swimmers. And don’t forget to bring a swim cap if you’re planning on using these facilities.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Definitely take a day if you can to get out to the Aran Islands. If you’re driving, you can make it out to the Rosaveel docks in about an hour to catch the ferry (otherwise, you can take a shuttle from Galway). I spent 9 days on vacation in Ireland, and my favorite activity was visiting the island of Inishmore.

good value but be prepared for late night revellers awaking you from your sleep at early hours

We spent a weekend at this hotel recently with our baby son who is just gone one.. The hotel is very family orientated and he loved the pool. Food and service were good, the only problem was that on both nights we were woken by late night revellers. We complained at reception and the duty manager apologised and said that she would speak with them, but the same thing happened the following night. She offered us free breakfasts for the inconvience, but we would have preffered a good nights sleep!
