Good choice for a lazy break
We wanted a relaxing break and got exactly that. Spa compares very well to others I’ve visited - pedicure is more chiropody than luxury but still very nice. The spa itself is lush and chilled and if you upgrade to an Imperial Club room they were offering buy one get one free on massages & facials so it was pretty good value too. One thing to beware of - locals don’t "give way" when walking, so if you don’t stay alert you’ll get tripped over/bashed into. Pushchairs are used as weapons in the Malls, so expect bruised shins if you’re not careful!

Atlantis - a perfect family destination
Buy a room with food included and the water park if you are going with kids. We did not buy a stay with any food and my family of 4 (kids 9 & 6) spent more than our hotel reservation on food. Food is good...just expensive. Free shuttles to the malls and sites are good and work fine. Cabs are quicker but will cost you $20 USD each way from the hotel to Mall of Dubai. The air port is a $35 USD cab ride. The Water Park, the Royal Pool, the room, the Lounges, the Nanny service; everything is well thought out, comfortable, and of excellent quality. We had an amazing four days of both family fun and I even got a romantic evening with my Bride to celebrate 13 years together.

Regularly travellig to Dubai has meant that i have a pritty good idea now whats available in this part of the UAE. This trip involved taking the family and we chose to stay at Atlantis. Things immidiatelly started off badly with no room available. We had booked a no-smoking room with expedia but we were told that none were available and we would have to wait. Arriving at 2.30 that day we said that this was unacceptable that we should have to wait and eventually we got upgraded. Frankly speaking the check-in staff were cold and we were made to feel that they were maybe doing us a favour! To cut a long story short, our rooms were never cleaned properly and there was always something or another missing from toilet rolls to tea mugs etc. Yes the water park is fantastic, and the hotel is spectacular inside but the service quite frankly is lacking and when your paying what it costs to stay here - i think theres many hotels out there that would offer you more, maybe. We took these issues up with the housekeeping manager who was fantastic i must admit. We arrived at Jumeria after a 5 night at the Novotel Deia City Centre and the service there was fantastic. I will definettly return to that hotel and will probably go back to Atlantic - but they must do better and remember that the customer is always no 1. My advise, shop around. At this price there is a huge selection of hotels out there anf if it’s water park that you want theres always the wave shaped Jumeria Beach Hotel.

not what I expected for this money
Eventhough we stayed for two nights and there would have been plenty of time, our room was not cleaned or tidied up once! This is something I would expect from a hotel that expensive!

An experience
This hotel is luxury in every way...but at a price! We would have liked to see a little more variation in eating budget options. To be fair, the restaurants we used were outstanding for both food and service. Don’t miss the Levantine restaurant and the amazing set menu options. Kaleidescope is ideal for families. We also took a sand dune Arabian Adventure package which was great fun, definitely a must for holidaying in Dubai. The staff at the Concierge desk were most helpful. The hotel complex employs an incredible number of staff and security was very tightly controlled. Overall the staff in the hotel complex were so friendly and helpful. The pools were very well manned by life guards which is comforting for young families. The guest rooms were beautifully maintained. A negative point was the choice of shops in the malls. The hotel is clearly not targeted for Europeans, familiar brands are ridiculously overpriced. It would have been good to see some more tasteful holiday souvenirs on offer too. Overall, a beautiful holiday retreat if you want to spoil yourself.

Atlantis the Palm fantastic experience
We have just reurned from a trip to Dubai, Egypt and Thailand and had some varied hotel experiences. The Atlantis The Palm was an amazing experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean,well managed, well mantained and the staff were excellent. We received free unlimited access to the waterpark attached to the hotel and( having two families with 4 children aged 9-14 )I can thougoughly recommend the experience. The hotel pools, the beach ,the exception breakfast were all highlights. The only negatives were that the hotel is located on a peninsula, so it is difficult to get to others resturants easily, we tended to eat at the hotel more than we expected. and secondly, the price is also quiet expensive, however with the price of the waterpark included it makes it an excellent place for a stopover and one you won’t forget in a hurry.

ATLANTIS THE PALM IN DUBAI
Hotel was super mooi en erg gezellig, je kan daar van alles doen echt alles zat in 1 hotel. Mooie centrum,mooie cafes, lekker eten in verschillende restaurants, gezellige discotheken, internetcafe, gebedsruimte voor de moslims. Personeels zn daar TOPPIE!! Een dikke 10!! Allemaal erg beleefd, vriendelijk altijd vrolijk en erg behulpzaam. Alles glinstert daar van schoonheid, en het ruikt zo heerlijk als je t hotel al binnen komt! alles is zo netjes en goed geregeld!

Traum Hotel,Traum Urlaub
Alles perfekt,ob zimmer,essen,strand,pools usw.,sehr empfehlenswert,zwar nicht ganz billig aber für dieses Hotel ok.Speziell für familien mit kinder ist das ein echtes erlebnis. Das war mit sicherheit nicht unseres letztes mal in dieses hotel.

amazing place
this is a must! everything about this place is perfection. the service is top class. rooms are cleaned twice a day. food was lovely but could be a little expensive as well with the drinks, but if you can afford to stay here you can afford the good quality restaurants. aqua park was amazing, felt like a kid again!! guaranteed sun! memorable 6 nights, thank you atlantis...

Hotel Atlantis the Palm, consigliatissimosoprattutto per tutti coloro che hanno dei bambini
E’ un Hotel veramente bellissimo ,molto grande con varie attrazioni. Ci sono diversi ristoranti per tutti i gusti, un acquario favoloso con circa 65000 specie di pesci. Per non parlare della formula Club imperial, che hai dalla colazione mattutina, agli happy hours a partire dalle 18h. Tutto è splendido ed una settimana all’interno di questa struttura vola in un batter d’occhio, i giochi mozzafiato per i bambini, le cascate o il bagno con i delfini, sono cose a cui non potrete rinunciare! Comunque un’esperienza da ripetere, senza ombra di dubbio.

Everything we hoped for
Atlantis was everything promised and more, from the easy check in to the explanation of why we should upgrade to the 12th floor club class if we intended to have breakfast each day, (and are we pleased we did as we ate and drank for the whole of Australia and saved ourselves a fortune!) from a full breakfast to lunchtime and all day snacks, afternoon English High tea and pre dinner drinks and food (which was enough not to need dinner), the whole lot cost little more than breakfast would have done so if offered grab with both hands. The aquariums are among the best in the world, the timing of our visit meant the place was not overrun with children and the weather was bearable for Australians. We triple shared as friends in a 2 queen bedded room, very large with all the usual 5 star facilities and with the extra niceties of fresh fruit and chocolates delivered to our room on arrival, the views from the balcony were breathtaking, the sea calm and warm, the service was excellent from the Bellboys to the Club room staff and we would return or recommend in a heartbeat. I’m sure that families with children would also love this hotel as the young seem to be very well catered for.

Everything sorted
When this hotel opened, there were various reviews on Trip Advisor complaining about teething problems but let me tell you those have all been ironed out now. I travel to Dubai on business and usually stay at the Grosvenor, and thought I’d try Atlantis for a change. I’m glad I did...the breakfast buffet is superb with no waiting. The Waterpark is fantastic fun and the staff are very helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Atlantis the Palm Dubai
Dit hotel is met recht een 5* plus hotel. De service was uitstekend en het personeel erg behulpzaam. Het verblijf in het hotel en het aangrenzende water park is bijzonder aangenaam. De prijzen in het hotel voor drank en eten zijn niet goedkoop maar ook niet extreem duur. Er is volop keuze. Een eenvoudige pizza is mogelijk maar een 3* Michelin restaurant is ook aanwezig. De ligging van het hotel tov het centrum is ongeveer 15 a 20 minuten met de taxi en prima te doen. Het zwembad en het strand zijn uitstekend. Een aanrader is de beach-club waar je relexed op je zit zak aan de vloedlijn met een waterpijp de sky-line van Dubai kunt bewonderen. Het aqua park dat grenst aan het Hotel is geschikt voor kinderen maar zeker ook voor 30+ en 40+. Het is echt een dag fun. Verbluffend is aquarium in hotel. Het is groot en tsjok vol met vis. Je kan er zelfs een duik in maken mocht je dat willen. Een uitstekend hotel waar ik zeker nog eens terug naar wil.

atlantis the gem!
our stay was lovely! we upgraded to a suite and it was just as the guy at reception said it would be. we had views of the palm island, the burj al arab and the burj kahlifa in the distance. the room was very clean, they brought chocolate/fruit/mints, and the bathroom was amazing (an infinity soaking tub!). my only issue with upgrading the room was that we went from 2 queen beds to one bed and the suite only had a couch which was not a pull-out. we had to push the 2 club chairs against the couch so my son could sleep without falling off. you don’t need to leave the hotel for anything! there’s shopping but it’s very expensive name brands. another complaint was there was only 1 ATM in the hotel. we enjoyed the dolphin encounter, lost chambers aquarium and the summer carnival (although that was highly unorganized). dining is rather expensive (we ate at the italian rest. for dinner) but preferred the restaurants out near the pool. the pool and the beach were very nice and clean. i took my 8 year old swimming (he can’t swim yet) and he was able to be in the "royal pool" (the infinity pool) no problem and life guards were on staff. if we ever go again i don’t think we’d upgrade our suite due to the expense and we’d venture out into dubai for more meals.

Atlantis the Palm : une merveilleuse expérience en famille
Une fois passée l’impression de gigantisme qui peut effrayer, vous entrez dans le palais perdu de l’Atlantide. Un lobby somptueux, des aquariums qui dépassent l’imagination, une piscine de rêve, une superbe plage et un parc aquatique qui devient très vite le paradis des enfants (voire des plus grands). Le personnel de l’hôtel est particulièrement attentionné, les restaurants sont aussi beaux que bons, et la vue des chambres est magnifique. Une mention spéciale pour la salle de bains qui est assez originale. Nous avons résidé dans cet hôtel avec nos deux enfants dans une chambre standard. La grande superficie de cette chambre nous a permis de ne jamais nous sentier à l’étroit. En conclusion, un hôtel que je recommanderais pour les familles et pour tous ceux qui aiment le principe des "resorts". N’oublions pas la "Palm Jumeirah" elle-même, qui est un endroit tout simplement extraordinaire. Et pour les sceptiques qui pensent qu’il n’y a pas grand chose à faire à Dubaï, sachez qu’en une semaine sur place, nous n’avons pas eu le temps de réaliser tout notre programme. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

For families, absolute value for money -
One of the best short stay luxury holidays we’ve had in years. Absolute value for money. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not cheap - but I think it’s the only luxury holiday where I’ve not begrudged the bill at the end. The facilities are very family orientated, and you feel well cared for and safe anytime of day or night. Aquaventure is amazing, and has something for all ages and abilities - even enough to keep adrenaline junkies from getting withdrawal symptoms! Our highlight was at Dolphon Bay. I know there is all the controversy about animal welfare and I was initially uneasy , and was on the lookout incase the animals were not being well treated. I felt re-assured that the trainers had extremely close and loving relationships with the dolphins and the welfare of the animals dictated the events. They had a saying " you love what you understand and you protect what yopu love" - that is so true, my two children will forever have dolphin welfare in their hearts. We only went out of the resort on one excursion - again a highlight and very recommeneded - we went on the Khasab Tour to Mussandam with Arabia Horisons. Here we saw wild dolphons close up, swam with fish in the gulf and had a 4 hour cruise on a traditional Dhow through the beautiful Fjords of Mussandam. The hotel has a quite behind the scenes army with only one goal in mind - your comfort. Medical assistance available on site. Peace of mind for parents, so the whole family can enjoy thye break - I think sums it all up

Hotel da favola in un ambiente super!!! Da visitare, almeno una volta nella vita. Per i ragazzi è stata un’avventura fantastica,sarebbero rimasti un mese! Assolutamente consigliato.

Dubai - The Palm Atlantis
First class all the way. Well worth the money as the hotel is beautiful, the staff make every effort to welcome you and help you enjoy your stay. The restaurants are fantastic. You have several activities on site for the entire family. Everyone speaks English. Dubai itself, is a modern city with beautiful architecture, malls, and you feel safe in the city. The bus tours (Big Bus Tour) is well worth the money as you see all the major sites. The city is well-maintained and very, very clean. The downside is that Dubai can be very expensive, but if you do want a nice relaxing trip in a beautiful city and a beautiful hotel, I would highly recommend going to Dubai and staying in the Palm Atlantis. If you do stay at the Palm, make your dinner reservations the day you arrive to ensure you get to eat in the various restaurants.
