charming hotel in the heart of everything

The Old Stone Inn was very charming and romantic. The location is better than anything else- a 5 minute walk through Victoria Park and you are at the American Falls- it’s also close to Clifton Hill tourist district where its basically a road with an amusement park! We stayed in an executive queen room. The decor was well appointed and lovely. The deep expresso finish of the ornately carved wood was like walking back in time. There was ample space in the armoir for clothing, and the nightstand actually had 5 drawers of its own. We had enough space to spread out our things and we were to keep quite organized. The dining was absolutely fabulous! The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff unparalleled. The food was wonderful. The chef makes all the jams himself- remember to ask for the blackberry. Superb!!

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Get the Adventure Pass- transportation,4 major attractions and 50% off others. The River Walk with class 6 rapids is almost as amazing as the falls themselves. Cave of the Winds on the U.S. side park was awesome! Niagara-on-the-Lake is the "prettiest town in Canada." There, you’ll find the whirlpool jet boats-- bring a change of clothes!!
