Not what you will expect - in a bad way
I have stayed at Sheratons and Starwood Hotels before and this hotel is not the norm. I have stayed at 2 star hotels that were better. First, I expected the famed Starwood heavenly bed. NOT! The bed was hard and though the double advertises queen sized beds they were regular size beds. Secondly, the room did not have a refrig, microwave nor snacks. It did have a quart sized bottle of Ozarka for $5. Thirdly, there is NO parking garage for guest use. If you drive to this location the only way to park is by using the valet service ($18) or parking your vehicle on the public street. FInally, the hotel has NO soundproofing. My room was 4 doors down from the elevators and while I thought nothing of hearing a few people talking in the hallway from time to time it was outrageous that Id hear the elevator bells everytime the elevator stopped on my floor and hear everyones conversation in the hallway. I really think that this Sheraton property had to have been a different hotel at one time and was taken over by Sheraton.

Parking fees not disclosed
There was no information on the website regarding the parking situation. Your ONLY option was to valet at a cost of $18/day -- or you could park on the street (meters) if available, but the neighborhood did not lend itself for this. This "hidden" cost should have been disclosed upfront. This is a huge fee and I cant believe the hotel did not disclose this up front.

No parking
The hotel was nice and clean. Our 5 year old had fun in the pool. My only complaint is that they dont have a guest parking lot just valet. I feel funny about handing over the keys to my car to a stranger. So, not having the option to park it myself was uncomfortable. Luckily one doesnt have to feed the parking meters around the hotel after 6pm and on weekends. Since we were there after 6pm on a Friday I was able to park on the curb. I would probably seek another hotel if staying in the area through the week.
