suites are bad
I paid more to get a suite, but it was too bad, the door was broken, and the kitchen was dirty, bed room is very small, and it cannot fit a family, luckily I was alone. If you plan to go to this hotel, do not pay more money and go to the suites.

second visit
I travel to Beirut quite regularly and this was my second stay at Le Royal. It was equally as good as my first trip and I will continue to use it as my hotel of choice. This time I had them arrange an airport pick up for me which was perfect and very good value. The concierge is a mind of information and recommended some very good local restraunts where I got to sample the deliciouis local food and take in the Euro 2008 qualifiers too.
Traveller's tip
Bring US dollars as your currency but try to have smaller bills if possible as your change will come in Lebanese pounds.
