Not bad
I liked this hotel, it was in a great location and the hotel lobby was very nice. We had requested a no-smoking room when booking but were not given one. I brought this up when checking in but the receptionist was not helpful at all. Other than that we were happy with this hotel.

Not recommended for car users
The hotel is in easy walking distance from the main train station in Duesseldorf. Simply turn left at the exit to the town centre. If you try to reach the hotel by car you will have bad luck as it is situated on a restricted road. The car park mentioned together with the hotel is 2 pedestrians crossings away on another main road. You should check its location with the hotel before travelling and point your GPS to the car park rather than the location of the hotel. The hotel has a tram stop right in front of it which allows you to reach almost every important location in Duesseldorf without using the car. The comfort provided is good, although the breakfast for EUR14pp might be a bit pricy.
Duesseldorf is a beautiful city and a visit to the "Altstadt" with its many pubs and restaurants and the Rhein embankment always pays off. My favorite cocktail bar is MaiTai, not far from the tram stop "Heinrich-Heine Allee".
