Well priced hotel
Hotel was okay, good rooms and furnishings. Arrived late & restaurant closed at 9.30pm which was a bit irritating. Ate in restaurant 2nd night - only couple in there! So lacked a bit of atmosphere. Receptionist Sunday morning was wonderfully helpful printing some info for us from a local website. Hotel was a bit too remote though.

Perfect location for shopping and exploring
Stayed here while visiting for a family reunion. More a business hotel than leisure. However, it has a perfect location 5 mins from the A40 (traffic noise not apparent); is next to the Ruhr Park shopping centre. There is no restaurant, but they do an average breakfast and there is a small bar open from 18.00hrs. The rooms were adequate and clean - although they should think about hoovering under the bed too! I would stay there again.
There is a great landhaus restaurant called Pastorat just on the junction near the hotel - the food was great - good German food. Service fab and not too expensive. Had lunch and dinner there on different occasions.
