Excellent value for the money
We got a very good deal and paid a lot less than the price quoted on the hotel website. It was a lovely hotel with a mixture of old and new. The bathroom was very modern and good, except for the fact that the sin khad no plug so it qwas difficult to have a wash, The breakfast was expensive, but we tried it once and there was an excellent choice of food. The restaurant was also expensive but their othe adjoinig restaurant was very good with a set three course meal. Our rooms were up a private stairway, with a little entrance hall and each room also had a little entrance hall with chairs and a table. The only criticism was that there was not enough wardrobe space.

Fantastic
The hotel is a virtual art museum, elegant, refined, a marvelous mix of ancient and modern design. Worth the visit to Lilli!

Beautiful and quiet hotel
When you first arrive the location is a bit disappointing but once inside it is a beautiful hotel. After a bit of exploring you discover that the location is quite convenient as you have the main art gallery only a few minutes walk away in one direction and the centre and old part of Lille a few minutes walk away the other. The room we had was very comfortable, bed good, bathroom lovely and exceptionally quiet. The bar is a spectacular atrium,pianist and lovely to sit in but drinks very expensive. We didn’t try the main restaurant. The bistro was very pleasant but the food not up to what you can find eslewhere in Lille. Overall a fantastic and memorable stay.
Breakfast was not in the room rate and was expensive in the hotel. A hundred yards south of the hotel in the Place S. Vollant is a newsagents/tabaconist/bar where we had an excellant coffee and a coissant to start the day off.
