Good location at the North of the Island
Great location for trips across to Comino Island and Gozo, away from the main tourist strip. The bus stop up the road allows for a cheap trip to other areas of Malta too (around 60 cents pp) and just over the hill from Melieha Beach- a popular sandy beach. However the hotel is quite isolated so we ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner a lot. We didn’t take the half board option so this may be cheaper. Rooms were clean, although decor is quite old. The air conditioning was either ’on’ (and loud if you’re a light sleeper) or ’off’. We also didn’t use the ’private beach’ as it was small, had rubbish in the water and didn’t seem like a nice place to swim. The pools within the hotel were good though and overall a decent hotel.

Great hotel
The hotel was great with really friendly service. Location was perfect, as we were looking for a quite vacation. The cleaniess of the room was an issue but overall great hotel.

Not a four star hotel
Inside and exterior impression of hotel is very impressive but the food is certainly not A la Carte.There was never anyone around to maintain the spa facilities therefore appearing grubby at times. Entertainment leaft alot to be desired for a 4**** hotel, given the location of the hotel in a remote area there was not enough to keep the guests entertained. Overall this should have been a 3 star hotel although most of the staff were helpful especially Luke the front desk guy.
