Great Time At The Belle!
We stayed for 3 nights on Oct. 4, 2009. We checked in on a busy Sunday. Check in time was 3pm but we had no trouble getting our room at 11:30. Staff at check-in was very quick and helpful. We had a room in the tower overlooking the pool, and the only thing wrong was that you needed a bread crumb trail to find it, the room was so far from the one elevator bank. The rooms were very clean with beds that were heaven to sleep on. I loved the casino, not too smokey, and the games were paying. The restaurants were good and the pub was happening! Location was fabulous as the hotel is right in the center of Riverwalk, making it convienent to the other casinos and boat ride. Would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.
Suggest going in early fall or spring. The temp can reach 100+ in summer and gets a little chilly in winter on the river.

Bathroom floor was dirty when we got there and it never did get cleaned.

Bell review
I wasn’t pleased; because I tried to find something to eat for dinner, and there wasn’t a restaurant, coffee shop, fast food nowhere. I ended up having a ice tea, snickers bar, and a cookie for dinner. I guess the management isn’t concerned with making guest comfortable, they just want you to gamble! I’m sorry, I don’t gamble!

Don’t bother the Bell, unless all you want to do is sleep.
