better to be honest
There’s no beach in 10 min walk from the hotel,for the price i could get better...but anyway is a nice hotel.

Quite liked the Teide Mar
Although the Teide Mar is a bit dated in some respects it is reasonably priced and adequate.We stayed half board and the meals were substantial with limited choices.Not many English speaking guests there but this did not seem a problem and we enjoyed the atmosphere.Overall a pleasant stay in a what you might call a "unique" hotel. It was clean and the staff were very friendly.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Puerto de la Cruz centre is 20mins walk away.We used local buses to visit Teide and to local walks starting at Aguamansa and La Caldera.

Good value for money
Convenient location with free street parking adjacent. Nice secluded garden and swimming pool. Would recommend paying extra for a room with balcony overlooking garden. Cooking and water heating facilities for drinks very poor. Only 2 antiquated solid electric hobs provided in kitchen area. A microwave oven would have been useful. Beds comfortable. Apartment quite spacious and kept very clean by regular maid service.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take a travel electric kettle with you. Don’t attempt any cooking. Even boiling an egg was difficult. There are plenty of nearby restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. If you want to buy food the Trebol hypermarket near Botanic Gardens is cheaper and better than nearest (Spar) supermarket.
