Great hotel but some reservations
A beautiful setting beside the Lake with extremetly confortable and characterful rooms. We stayed in the meandering pool villa which was fabulous. Unfortunately, when we stayed virtually the entire hotel was taken over by a conference. In the evenings they had big functions which meant the restaurants were virtually empty with little atmosphere and on night there were so few of us that they cancelled the buffet altogether. A shame really as it is a lovely place to stay. I would advise making sure there arent any conferences booked if you stay here as you will find yourself a lower priority in the eyes of the hotel otherwise.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The driftwood museum is very entertaining!
