Excellent Deal!
Great hotel in a great location. Very inexpensive for the area, breakfast included. Beds were firmer than I like but I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Had been to KC before but had never been to the Jazz District and Jazz Museum~definitely worth going to the Museum and a show (Blue Room) if you’re a jazz fan at all!

Can’t wait to go back (seriously)
The only bad thing about the stay in the hotel was that the heat would not come on after many tries. Finally someone came and adjusted the heat. The most impressive person was Gigi at the front desk. Everyone was kind, gentle and courteous. The hotel could use some updating. On a scale of 1 - 10 with 1 as the lowest, I would rate the hotel because of the people responsible for making you feel comfortable, warm and wanted a 10.

If you plan to go to a hotel during the change of weather, make sure that the "heat" can be turned on in your room without the aid of a plumber or maintenance man.

Great place to stay
I spent a week there, the staff is very pleasant and professional, the breakfast buffet was much more than adequate and having the shuttle to ferry me about the Plaza was a WONDERFUL benefit that meant I didn’t have to rent a car. Both my sisters have since stayed there and I will be going back.
