A great experience .
I got the impression that the hotel was totally new or refurbished.This was emphasised by the only downside :No locals knew the hotel by this name and so finding it was dificult (on foot at least -taxis would know it)even though it is large and well located on a major road.All was clean and new , the staff were the same , very helpful and knowledgeable.Breakfast was served in the room ,a temporary measure I think, the restuarant is up and running. They have a seperate german resturant and bierkeller next door , which is great .A reasonably well equipped gym and sauna/ spa with a great view allows you to work off the beer . Using the free bus to and from the airport is free and convenient .
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
As stated before , an excellent bus service is provided free to and from the airport(journey time 20 mins) Go next door for Bratwurst , steak with great beer)

If flying out of Sao Paolo early it is fine a s a stopover.
