location was excellent, hotel staff were wonderful, full of smiles, would return
Got a good deal on the hotel rates when we booked, always try to look for hotels that offer happy hour plus b/fast. We had early check out and they still gave us picnic b/fast even though it was just buns, the thought was very nice.

Felt like a bit of luxury
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and found I could walk to the old town very easily. The street food outside made the evenings lively and there was no pressure to eat at the hotel. Some renovations were going on and apparently that will lead to internet access. At present you can’t get onto a computer at the hotel unless you are travelling with your own.

Good choice
Good hotel in good location. There are many surrounding local shops. Room facilities are comfortable. I had good sleep there and enjoyed breakfast. Staff are helpful and friendly. If I visit Penang next time, no doubt to stay at Sunway Hotel again.
