Being student travellers on a budget, we decided to book this hotel during our first stay in Florence. Some of the staff members were super helpful and friendly while others were just okay. You get a free breakfast which is pretty standard, nothing spectacular. The rooms gave off a strange odor....similar to vinegar and the bed sheets seemed dirty and old. I dont think I would choose to stay here again only because the hotel seemed quite eerie at times.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Take the bus to get to the center; it only costs a 1.50 euros....There is also a grocery store called Sidis 2 streets down but remember the stores close super early since it is europe.

Probably would not return to hotel
Basically satisfactory but shower was poor with regards to temperature, on the cool side also the water pressure was weak.Room was cleaned every day and very generous with clean towels and bedlinen supplied. Breakfast was satisfactory,however tea and coffee were only luke warm if you went later. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Hotel not central to Florence but public transport was excellent so not a problem. Found some good local restaurants, one recommended by hotel staff.

Basic place....
We wanted a location close to major Florence attractions without spending an arm and a leg. Our room was rather dated...olive green furniture, old fixtures, old tiles, etc. However, it was larger than most European hotel rooms with a mini-fridge, had a balcony, and larger bathroom with shower. One of our beds had a broken leg & management said they had no other rooms to move us to. Funny thing is, that as we walked by another room being cleaned, the furniture in it was beautiful, similar to that of in the lobby. Breakfast was mediocre, and hotel only had 2 parking spots for 13 euro per day...no guarantee that they would be taken if we left....so we decided to leave our car there and take the local bus into downtown.....bus stop only around the corner, so that was convenient.

Don’t get suckered into the local red sightseeing bus....it is cheaper to use bus route number 14 from this hotel and you see the same sights!
