Convenient location
We went with our two children aged 10 and 12 for half term. Close to centre of Val dIsere but still requires a walk of about 5-10 minutes to bus stop or to Solaise lift or Casino supermarket (which is small but has everything you need and not too expensive. Road near to P&V is treacherous for walking and very icy. The free bus service is excellent and every 5 minutes. Children loved the outdoor pool. Staff very friendly. The accommodation was very quiet so we all slept well. No oven in kitchen, just microwave and hob, but there was a kettle. Towels and cleaning kit were provided free of charge. Underground parking was 50 Euros for the week but worth it to ensure car starts in the cold.
We found the restaurants very expensive and only ate out twice during the week. We came back to the apartment most days for a simple lunch and left our skis on the slope and came back on the bus. Even though it was half term as long as you can cope with red and black runs it is very easy to escape the crowds. The queues for the lifts were well organised and there was no pushing. Longest we queued was about 5 minutes.

Expensive for what it was!!
Studio room was a large hotel room. Didnt like to make up beds every night. Only three of us there would have been too little space with four. There is no where to put clothes or dry ski clothes. Needs a bar or cafe. Swimming pool was good as well as pool table really enjoyed by children.
Went by train to Bourg-st-Maurice - Need to book direct journey on the Eurostar rather than change in Paris.
