Large community of ski hotel complexs
Reception is hard to find in the large complex area, room was cramped.

Unique mountain experience
We stayed at Avoriaz in mid-Summer and it was our first family experience at a mountain resort. The mountains and valleys made for nice scenery and the pool was nice for our family. There seemed to be lots of chances for hiking, biking, etc in the mountains, although we didn’t do this on our short visit. The resort is a little isolated, so day trips to other areas would be a little challenging. It’s best to stay in the area. Overall, a good experience.
Check into the pool access and choose a villa near the pool. The apartment is well stocked for cooking meals inside. There were 2 grocery stores in the resort, with a good selection for kids and adults.

Fab if you dont stay in!!
Four of us went skiing (no surprise) and booked an apartment for four. This turned out to be 2 bunk beds and 2 sofas in the lounge /diner /kitchen. Basic accomodation only but value for money right in the resort, ski in ski out. Would be an ideal budget location four a family of four, especially as you can separate effectively the bunk beds from the rest of the appartment. Bars and resturants just outside but does not disturb. An ideal BUDGET location.
