Good value boutique hotel
Although attractievly furnished, the rooms are very small - but adequate if you don’t intend to hang around during the day. Also, beng in Chinatown there is excellent food everywhere almost 24/7. It’s also easy to get to via the tube from Changi. Overall, the 1929 represents great value for money
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
The hotel is an easy five minute walk from Outram Park tube (subway) station which takes you to Changi airport in 30 minutes for just US$2
