Very Impressed
I have just spent a couple of nights in the Kempinski Hotel at Munich Airport with some girlfriends. What a great hotel! It was within walking distance of the terminal building which made life easier, it was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The spa facilities were excellent. The transport system around Munich was efficient and clean. We bought a 3day Citytourcard and, because we were so convenient to various U-bahn and S-bahn stations, were able to explore the city easily. It is a beautiful city and well worth exploring.

Perfect for early flights
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the service perfect. And the location can’t be beat for people with an early morning flight out of Munich. However, there were some unexpected issues with this level of hotel: Internet access was not free and there was neither a coffee pot nor hand lotion in the room. One could argue that these things are not common in European hotels but we found them all in much less expensive hotels on this trip. That said, the beauty of the lobby bar was worth the price of the room.

Perfect for early morning flights
Great hotel to stay at if you’re flying off in an early morning flight. You can check in the previous day and simply walk to the terminals.
