Cost of the Brand Name
We like the convenience and accessibility of the hotel. My expectation that Holiday Inn should be clean (free of mildew and dust in the bathroom). It was a superficial paint over the wall where mildew are showing up maybe because there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. You can also notice accummulation of dust where they placed the towels. The bath tub was not properly cleaned - mildew in the corners including the faucet. This might be the fault of a lazy employee/cleaning people.

Not a five star
I booked this hotel as it was rated as a 5 star hotel. It was 30% higher than comparables in the same area. It was clean and comfortable but lacking in those little extras that makes a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was modest, the eggs were cold, but you had a few options to chose from. Next time I’d take the 30% price cut of near by hotels.
