Beautiful relaxing hotel
My husband and I stayed for a week at the Hesperia Hotel Lanzarote and had a wonderful time. We wanted a relaxing break and that is what we got. It was a quiet time of the year for the hotel (March) so not all of the hotel facilities were open but the service was great. The food in the main restaurant was amazing. I have yet to see a breakfast buffet like it and I stay in hotels a lot with work. We only ate in the hotel one evening preferring to eat in Puerto Calero or Puerto del Carmen. The spa is well worth a visit also. There are great walks near the hotel and I was sorry I did not bring my walking gear. Puerto Calero is a quiet resort and probably not ideal for those seeking a more lively holiday. I would recommend this hotel for couples & families with young children.
In Puerto Calero there is an amazing restaurant called Amura. In Peurto del Carmen there is a lovely restaurant called El Tomate near the shopping centre.
