Superb Hotel.
Got back a few weeks ago from Orlando. Stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn International Drive North. I was a bit worried about the location as it isn’t directly on I Drive. I needn’t have worried, the location is great. Just behind the Sheraton 4 Points (the round tower with the globe on the top). A 3-4 minute walk to an I Ride trolly stop. Hotel was spotless and the staff were lovely. The rooms were modern and very clean indeed. Bed was comfy and very large. 20 minute walk to Universal too. I really cannot fault the hotel at all. A*. I will not stay anywhere else when I go back now.
When you are waiting at the bus stop for the Lynx bus to Disney, a few transportation companies will stop and offer you a lift. These are safe. We travelled with King Soloman transport several times and it was cheap, fast and reliable.

Wonderful!
We really liked the hotel. It was recently remodeled and the room was nice and modern. The beds were amazing! I wanted to take one home in my luggage. The pool area was nice as well, and there is a full gym with a good variety of equipment. Wireless internet in the room too. The location was great. It’s just off International Drive so you don’t have the noise from traffic, but it’s close and convenient. We had a rental car, but you could easily walk to the corner in a few minutes and catch the trolly or just walk to many places from there. There was an IHOP right on the corner as well, and the hotel has a small restaurant. We were only about a 20 minute drive from Disney and minutes away from Seaworld and Universal. Also lots of shopping outlets.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
If your hotel doesn’t offer a free shuttle look into it at the airport. There are signs posted about ground transport by baggage claim and it was half the price to use the shuttle service from the airport than it was to rent a cab for one person. Prices fluctuate depending on # of people, but it’s definitely worth checking out.

Very friendly staff, good location, spacious
Extremly friendly and courteous staff, ideally located for easy access to the theme parks, restaurants and shops. The decor in the room was basic and felt a bit dated but the room size was more than sufficient and the bed the most comfortable I have ever slept in.
