Very Good Hotel with Major Flaw
Cream tea and scones are served free in your room or downstairs in the lounge between 3 and 5 pm. I took advantage of it both nights I was there and it was very good and relaxing. From 5 - 7 they have an open free bar at the front desk. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to Harrods, the tube, Hyde Park, and museums. My only complaint is a big one. I checked in to room 10. When I came back a few hours later, they had moved all my stuff to room 12 without my approval or knowledge. I was told they made a mistake and I should have been checked in to room 12. They are both the same price, but #10 is much nicer than #12. It is also bigger with more amenities and much more comfortable. I was told they called me to let me know about the move, but they called my home in California!!! I believe they owe me an apology and I’m waiting for it. With that big exception, it was a very nice hotel and the staff overall was very good.
Traveller's tip
It’s very easy to take the tube from Heathrow Airport on the Picadilly to Kightsbridge station. The walk to the hotel is only three blocks. You walk alongside Harrods to Brompton Rd then turn left and its about two streets down. Don’t get Beaufort Garden Apts mixed up with the hotel.

Rooms small and could do with a refit, TV did not work, window very small, however free bar and lounge area still very good. Location is excellent.

Needs Improvement
The location of the Hotel was good and the hotel was comfortable. However, the hotel staff needs to think before placement of guests. We were a couple in our late 50’s and the staff put the children of a large family all on our floor. The parents were on a different floor. As a result there were kids running up and down the hall, slamming doors, talking loud, knocking on doors and blaring their tv’s until past midnight every night we were there. We asked the front desk to please quiet the kids down, but it was not done. Finally, the drains in the bath were clogged so showering was interesting. We won’t stay there again.
