Will visit again
A truly nice experience. No significant negative comments. We have recommeded that the Mercure Tour Effel in Paris go to Caen and see how things should be done ! A 3 star hotel outshone a 4 star hotel in Paris.
Right in the middle of the Coast of Normandy and all its memorable sites.

Mercure is basic but Ok
This Mercure was our first stop on a trip to France. The rooms were basic but livable. The inhouse restaurant was over priced but had decent food. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, I would give this place a B.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Don’t miss the World War 2 landing beaches about 30 minutes away. A very sobering piece of history awaits and it is comforting to see how much America’s involvement in WW2 still means to the people of these communities.
