Good Hotel
Hotel personnel very friendly, hotel located 10 min outside City Centre. Public transport close by. Hotel gave us a travel pass for the 5 days.
Mc Donalds 3 minutes walk from hotel, a few fast food outlets and supermarket in walking distance

Quiet and elegant Geneva
Exceptionally quiet, elegant and comfortable hotel in a residential area. Staff extremely nice and very helpful. I shared a twin en-suite room with a colleague for a business trip. Lovely modern clean bathroom with a good mains shower and bath. Writing desk and refrigerator in the room (We stocked up our own minibar from the Co-op round the corner!). Not located in city centre, but a very short walk from bus routes to the lake or railway station (6 mins) or airport and Palexpo centre (15 mins), and buses run every 10 min or so, from early morning to after midnight. You can also walk quite easily into centre of Geneva. There are decent cafes, restaurants and food shops near the hotel - several open from early morning. A good choice of hotel if you are attending an event at Palexpo.

This hotel is a winner.
I took my mother and my 3 yo daughter with me to Geneva for a few days of leisure and then for a business conference. The hotel is immaculate and the room we had was quite roomy, comfortable and with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast buffet is offered and quite excellent and "cheap" for geneva standards. The hotel is also about 1 mi from town center and on a busline. The only downsides were that the hotel staff, albeit quite professional and nice, were few in number at the front desk so there were often times where you had to wait in line to discuss something with them. Also the "business center" is really only a desk and a computer that I could not get internet access from because you could not log on using your credit card and you could not access using special password "cards" because the hotel ran out of these password "cards".

Geneva has a policy whereby travellers staying at Geneva hotels get "metro-cards" that allow them to use any mass transit for the duration of their stay.
