Good Hotel, Good Location
Enjoyed our weekend break here and would return again despite having to agree with some of the previous comments regarding the service at the pool bar.

Gran Hotel Benahavis
First impression of hotel was very good.Staff friendly and helpful; room very good (we were given a free upgrade to a suite) and hotel location wonderful. As in was end-season the hotel was almost empty - although filled up a little at the weekend. Plenty of sunbeds around 2 swimming pool areas. Some of corridors a little shabby and breakfast was reasonable (I’ve had better)although overall ok. Would recommend.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems -surrounding area very hilly. Excellent eateries in Benahavis town - a 10-15 minute walk away up the mountain. (Try the one with French ’Simon Cowell’) Area very attractive - worth visiting.

Good Value For Money
Staff were friendly, Be prepared for a bit of a drive from the coast (7K) but a lovely setting nestled in amongst the mountains.Car essential. Superb buffet breakfast
