Lovely boutique hotel
My boyfriend and I (Australian, 29yo & 27yo) booked a package through Expedia and stayed at Pelican Bay Art Hotel for 5 nights. We loved this hotel and could not fault it. As travellers we are not very demanding and often find ourselves in more basic backpacker type accommodation. However, Pelican Bay is a lovely hotel by anyone’s estimation: great decor, comfortable/clean/new rooms, yummy buffet breakfast (best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had!) The hotel is within easy reach of Plati Yialos beach (less than 5mins walk), bus stop to Mykonos town (10mins bus trip, buses every 30mins), and 15mins walk to Paradise Beach (so much better to walk there than catch the boat or the bus). We intended on having a party-yet-romantic holiday which is why we chose Mykonos as opposed to other Greek Isles. And staying at this hotel certainly made the holiday that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying near Plati Yialos for relaxing, romantic moments.

Didnt want to come back!
good location 5 mins walk from the beach. 3 miles into the town but mopeds are cheap (10 euro per day if you get one in the town - dont hire from the hotel as its 25 euro!) and there is a very good bus for 1.40 euro every half an hour from close to the hotel. hotel very clean, good breakfast, helpful staff, nice pool, big balconies - no complaints! go to the quieter beaches in the north or east - very nice. platy giaolos itself quite expensive to eat so would recommend going into the town for more choice. a lovely holiday

go to little venice to watch the sunset, although drinks will be expensive its a nice treat!
