Highly recommended!
I was really pleased by the AC Irla hotel. It was as clean, modern and comfortable I could wish for. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. It is situated out of the city centre in a calm and quiet neihbourhood. A metro station is at 10 minutes walk and can bring you easily to the city centre (Placa Catalunya).
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
At Placa de Francesc Maria, 3 minutes walk from the hotel, you can take the Touristic Bus for 2 different itineraries of the city. Very helpful the first day to identify the places who will want to visit during your stay.

Great room+great staff+great location=great trip!
Room was a little on the small side, but still very well equipped. Really nice bathroom, plenty of amenities, very clean, and great location! Friendly and helpful staff rounded out the experience to be excellent overall!

Excellent design hotel at very reasonable price.
Very modern design hotel located in an upper scale area of Barcelona at walking distance from the top shopping area. Very easy to get in, at 20 min. from the airport by taxi. The hotel personnel have been very friendly, smiling and helped me in all my requests. Rooms are smaller than similar hotels.
