An OK deal
Hotel location is close to the City center and port - but in a rather tough neighborhood . An old factory building turned into hotel - but no way to match 4 Stars - rooms are big but VERY basic, smell like a motel. The elevator stinks - had to hold breath when you ride on. Hotel staffs are very nice and eager to help.

More to Catania than you think
This is an unusual hotel because it combines the comfort of a good hotel with the ability to cater for yourself if you wish. It has nice kitchens and dining areas with plenty of sitting areas both inside and out. The rooms are generous sizes with well designed bathrooms. The hotel is located 5 minutes from the centre.
Catania does not have the mosaic studded byzantium style churches of Palermo but neither does it have the noise and horrendous traffic of the capital. There’s lots of interesting things to discover in Catania if you look. The fish market is an amazing place if you can take the smell !

Pretty good for money
The hotel is a impressive and well maintained place with friendly service and great breakfast. It’s not top of the range but really nice. They could pay a bit more attention to decoration and equipment in the rooms adding stuff like an iron, ironing board, tissues and a facial cloth to the mix.
