Worth the price
An OK and reasonably priced Hotel in an OK city. The breakfast ended at 10am and we missed it, that seemed early to end. The quality of the room realtive to the price was good in the very expensive city of Copenhagen. Staff was friendly and moderatly helpful.

Large and comfortable room
The outside of the hotel is not very attractive so we were very happily surprised when we saw our room. The bed was large, there was ample space to put our things away, and there was even a small balcony with two chairs and a table. The hotel is conveniently located. We walked all over Copenhagen with no difficulty and walked to the train station with our bags. The only nasty surprise was when we were checking out and we were told that the delicious breakfast we had enjoyed both days was NOT included in the price and that we owed 300 kroner. The price was not unreasonable, just unexpected.

Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden is Great
This is a nice hotel about 5 blocks from central train station. We walked/biked/metro/S-Train everywhere from the hotel and saw everything there was to see in central Copenhagen. The staff was really helpful (we didn’t have a plan when we arrived). Breakfast was excellent, don’t miss it!
