clean and comfortable
This is a lovely place to stay in Warsaw. The standard of the accomodation is high, with a well equipped kitchen, huge bathroom, comfortable beds and relaxing livingroom complete with DVD player. We could not believe the standard we got for the low price we paid. The location was excellent, about 1 minute from a supermarket, 10 minutes from Central station and a 5 minute walk from New Street, which had excellent restaurants, cafes and bars. We were pleasantly suprised by both the accomodation and Warsaw itself, especially the old and new town.

Apartment Living at a Hotel Price
Highly recommend the Residence St Andrews for those looking for an apartment setting, lots of room to spread out, ability to cook Polish food yourself, etc - in other words, to live like the Warsaw people do. Expecting a small efficiency, surprised to find a large apartment in an extremely nice building, very well located on a side street. Room opened out to a courtyard which does have a busy cafe - however since this closes around 11 PM, rooms are then free of any noise. The kitchen in the apartment had everything one needed to cook full meals (pots, pans, dishes, etc). Bathroom amenities were marginal - but since we had some shampoo, etc with us from our previous hotel this was not a problem. Excellent recently remodeled bathroom, large living room with flat screen t.v., dining room table, and large bedroom with a comfortable bed. Very good price especially considering the ability to eat in if you want. Office staff were very friendly and helpful - Only negative is that the office is closed over the weekend, although there is a security person on site.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Walking distance from most Warsaw tourist sights Old Town, New Town, University, Parks, Churches, etc. Easy access to buses for other tourist destinations. Lots of high end as well as bargain shopping, cafes and restaurants steps away. Walking distance from the Central Rail Station. Excellent location.
