Location

The hotel was in a great location if you’re planning to use it as a base. It right next to the train station, so grab something to eat from the FREE breakfast, out the door, cross the street and hop a train to your next adventure. Your within 10 minutes from many sights in Florence. With exception of one employee everyone was awesome, very nice and friendly. The price good and the rooms were larger than we had expected. We would stay here again. If you are wanting a room with a view choose a different place unless your idea of a nice view is the side of a train station or walls. We were on the train station/ street side so you have traffic noise, but not real bad at night or maybe we were just so exhausted from our day and slept through it. Also there is no elevator from the lobby to the second floor, but there is one on the second floor.

Lake Como (OMG) beautiful Cortona - Amazing Rome - overwhelming - you must go to Miscellanea awesome food Florence - like home

You have all you need

It was a very good experience. Just across from the train station(200 mts), and 1500 mts from all the main attractions. The roor was spacious and clean but the bathroom a little small. Breakfast was very good, a self service buffet, for a 3* hotel and the price was very convenient too. I loved Wi-Fi in the room, so we could talk to our children. We stayed there for 3 nights from the 7th. October and although it was hot outside, we didn’t need the AC. If I ever return to Florence, I would go to this hotel again.

We went to Florence for 3 days in October and the weather was very nice. We also recommend going to Siena, which is very near (by train) and you can spend there all day. It’s a beautiful city too.

Great Location, Good Hotel for the price

I was traveling solo but meeting friends in Firenze. I got a single room, but was assigned a double sized bed. By European standards the room was huge in my opinion. I thought the rate was very fair including free breakfast and internet accesss The hotel is next to the train station so it is not in the most picturesque part of Florence, but who gives a flip? I was only sleeping there. The room was nice. Maid service was good. The hotel staff was professional and as courteous as can be expected when dealing with picky people from American and 20 other countries. In particular, a gentleman by the name of Lucca (I think) who was working the night shift was extremely helpful and very kind and thoughtful. He should be promoted to manager. In the lobby/bar area there is a bank of 5 computers with free internet access. This was invaluable for uploading pics to my facebook and communication with friends back in the USA. Pretty reliable, but outdated browser and the keyboards defaulted to German. Pretty simple fix, and kept me from lugging a laptop all over Euorope. If you are an adventurer, and not looking for a resort hotel, this is the place. If you are looking to stay in an American hotel, why are you traveling to Italy. Get a room at the Hilton for $500 a night. No offense Hilton :-)
