Not flashy but sound
While aspects of the hotel are a tad shabby and worn, it is nevertheless well situated; rooms are clean, and the breakfasts of good quality. Would definitely return.

its okay
The rooms are very comfortable with a strong shower. I had a fantastic sleep there. Very clean large rooms! Breakfast is pretty good too however, the seats look like that need to be thrown away on a fire heap. They are discusting! The manner of the staff seems like they need a career change. They do not seem happy at all. I have stayed in the hotel before 2 years ago and I remember it then and nothing has changed from the above descritpion.
There is a great Italian place on the same street with great food. Local pub next door food was okay too with fantastic original1940’s type decor. GOOD BEER. I walked everywhere loved the walk from hotel, through the park to attractions.

Suprising 3 star
I was suprised that this hotel was rated 3 star as there was no air-conditioning and the street was very noisy if the window was iopen. Also no minibar so no where to keep water cool. Good location. Breakfast not too bad though no croissoints(?spelling)
