Fantastic hotel, shame about Malta
I couldnt recommend the hotel more although it’s a real shame there isnt really much to see or do in Malta. I was there for 1 week but you could easily see all of Malta in a weekend. The breakfast selection at the hotel was fantastic, there was a huge variety of things to chose from and the waiting staff were extremely chirpy and attentive. Due to a lack of things to do we ended up using a lot of the spa facilities which were nice although a little on the pricey side & unfortunately the complimentary steam room was not working. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which makes it a very cheap & easy mode of transport to use. My only problem with the hotel was that if you’re on the road facing side it’s quite noisy especially as the ground floor bar has an open front with live entertainment. We did ask to change rooms but were told nothing else was available as loads of old people come on package holidays here. Nearby Meliha bay was a lot smaller than I expected although at least it was sandy unlike St. Julians. Would recommend for over 60s only.

Best resort, lovely hotel
I would recommend this hotel to couples and families heading for Malta, it is absolutely lovely, the rooms, the pools, the food, everything was great, bus stop just outside to explore the island. If youre looking for nightlife though go elsewhere, but if its a quiet, relaxing holiday youre after stay here its beautiful.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Definitely take the excursion to Gozo well worth it. Also make sure you get the bus into Valletta lots to see and do there.
