Not impressed
Room was v small and smelly. Air conditioner didn’t work v well. Reception staff were nice and helpful.

Enjoyable short stay
Stayed two days in late October 2008. Vacation on the way home after a long trip. Good location. Deluxe room worth a few bucks extra. Centrally located and good for relaxation.
Traveller's tip on dining
Dinner at the Red Ochre Cafe was great (kangaroo filet done perfectly). Go early with a reservation and save a bit.

Good location and good value
Well sited in the centre of town and right next to the Todd Mall (NOT an indoor shopping centre but instead a pedestrain street of cafes, art galleries and similar places). Every 2 Sundays the Mall buzzes with a street market (jewellry etc). Rooms are a good size, with a larger than usual fridge and all the usual facilities. Good value compared with some of ythe other places we stayed.
