Park Inn Solna a very good choice
Conveniently located just outside the metro station, clean, good buffet breakfast with wide choice of food, fast free internet connection in the room. Stayed on the 12 floor, had good views of the neighbourhood. Large and comfortable rooms, beds too soft though. Right in the middle of a shopping mall, convenient for shopping. Very good value for money, would recommend it.

Good hotel overall
We only stayed one night and found the hotel very nice and had excellent facilties. The only thing we found to be a negative and hence the loss of one service point, was the cost involved in parking a car in the hotel car park. 175SEK (approx £15) a day is rather a lot considering what you pay to stay there.
Either take the subway into town (10-15mins away) or walk up past the Football stadium to the old part of Rasunda (10min walk) and there are lots of small good quality and inexpensive restaurants tucked away in that area.

Good Hotel Close to City Centre
Nice, clean hotel only 5 stops from central station on the subway (approx 7 mins). Clean room with comfortable beds. Excellent buffet breakfast with lots of food options. Located within a shopping mall so there are 120 shops on your doorstep, which is handy for those looking to do some shopping. Hotel is situated about 15 mins by subway from the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and about 10 mins from Stureplan. Great value for money - i would definitely stay in this hotel again.
There is a nightclub called Greta Garbos not far from the Hotel (about 5 mins by taxi) which has lots of dfferent dancefloors and music to suit most tastes (there was a live band playing in one of the rooms when we were there). Nice club, with friendly, if not slightly older crowd.
