Plumbing disorder -- service not what we expected
We checked into our room, which was about what we’d expected -- nothing fancy, not particularly clean. However, in the middle of the night, the toilet started to make funny gurgling noises after being flushed, and at 4:00 a.m. it overflowed when flushed. Response from front desk when called: "I’ll bring you a plunger." When my husband went to front desk after plunger did nothing (water just kept flowing from toilet), she offered another room. With sleeping kids in the room, we declined, so they gave us another room to use for toilet and shower. So when I had to use restroom at 6 a.m., and shower later, had to walk two doors down. Substitute room was smoking room. Was given a 10% refund (I’d expected about 50% since our experience was about the same as camping, which costs $20). My biggest complaint, other than the small refund, was that it didn’t occur to the front desk person that we might need additional towels to clean up the overflowing toilet in our room. We understand that these things happen, but expected a better response to the problem.

not impressed
Pool was disgusting--needed filtered or something. Room was OK. Front desk couldn’t find my reservation at first. Breakfast was ok, not great.

Noisy Hotel
This Hotel was clean and neat. The only problem was it was very noisy. You could hear the truck & motorcycle traffic that went on all night long. Lots of noise seeped through the door and windows when other people closed car doors and there was a party with rowdy gentelmen late at night. You could even hear people talking at normal voices clear as a bell. This was with our air conditioner on high. We just could not sleep well through the night. Breakfast was ok, biscuts and gravey, french toast, cereal ect.. If you need a good night sleep don’t stary here.
