Small, but adequate
Although it is a lengthy cab ride from the airport, there is excellent train and bus connections after one figures out how to use them. The breakfast was presented well with many choices, as well as an offer to fix anything else one would want.

Not Impressed!
Throughout our stay at Tropical Hotel, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful - I would probably go as far as to say dismissive. The room itself was ok despite the mouldy grouting in the bathroom. The worst thing about the hotel was the location - there were no restaurants at all in the surrounding area (none that we were able to find anyway!)

Extremely nice hotel
This hotel is fantastic, very clean, modern, friendly staff, well sound proofed, internet access is affordable (you can buy a pre paid card for 20 euros for 500 minutes at the lobby). The location is ok, but the road outside is extremely busy and can take around 10 minutes to cross (this is not an exaggeration), nothing to do with the hotel, just a problem infrastructure.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Forget the bus, the Tram station across the road is faster, cooler and more frequent. Remember to validate ur ticket by pushing it into the little machine on the platform before you board the tram, the machine should print the time on your ticket, you have 1 hr 30 mins from the time stamp before your ticket expires, so you can use the ticket for you journey home too. Tickets are only 1 euro!
