Great room, great value
This hotel is about a five minute walk from the metro station (La Moraleja) and requires 3 transfers from the airport. You can actually see the hotel from the metro station. It lies on the Metro Norte Line, which costs an extra euro each trip because it is outside the Madrid city zone. Save money and take the metro instead of a taxi, it’s an easy trip that involves some walking but no stairs (plenty of escalators) A trip by metro to the center of town takes about 30 minutes. The hotel is next to a highway, but far enough away that noise is not a problem. There is a small shopping center and supermarket within a 4 minute walk as well.

My Comments
Can see from A-1 highway, but hotel is far enough away that it does not get the noise. Can walk to a shopping mall. Easy drive to airport. Was told by staff that rental car return is at Terminal 2, but it actually is at Terminal 1. Highly recommend.

typical business hotel with no personality
good for business access and clean and functional but no bar (you can have drinks in an area of reception) to speak of and the resaurant is average. However, there is a good selection of restaurants/bars/cinema about five minutes walk away.
