Will stay there again
I had lived in Munich for a year several years ago and recently went back for a few days just to wander around and go to museums and visit some friends. I knew to stay away from the train station (seedy and loud), and also knew how far flung some neighborhoods are where some of the more reasonably priced hotels are located . I also knew I did not want to be too close to Marienplatz, because of the throngs of tourists. Adria is located in a neighborhood that is near enough, yet far enough away. Only a couple of minutes from the subway. The room, a single, was small, but enough for me as a single traveler. It was clean and quiet. The staff were nice, attentive, and there is always someone at the desk 24-7. The price was good. I will most defnitely stay there again the next time I go to Munich. Note; Their breakfast is good but outrageously expensive (19 Euro). There is a coffee shop just down the block called San Francisco Coffee Co. where you can get inexpensive, good breakfast: muffins, sandwiches, and the like. There is also a Tegelman grocery store across from that coffee shop, and a couple of bakeries. I bought some supplies and kept them in the minibar fridge.

basic but nice
Room was very clean, basic, the staff was very nice. Great location!!! Nice neighborhood, close to maximilianstrasse (high end shopping area), and about a 10 minute walk to the marienplatz. Would stay here again - great for a the picky budget traveler.

Great hotel, great location, quiet neighborhood!
My husband and I were extremely satisfied with our room at Hotel Adria. We had a double on the top floor with a fantastic view. The neighborhood was really quiet even though it was so close to the historic city center. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. We would definitely return on a return trip to Munich.
