Fantastic Hotel
To criticise anything at the Chedi would be difficult. The service is outstanding, the setting is beautiful and the food enjoyable. We only stayed a night, but it felt a lot longer and it was just the relaxing break we needed at the end of a fairly hectic holiday driving around Oman. Yes the Chedi is expensive. Lounging by the pool and ordering from the bar, or eating at The Restaurant will set you back a considerable amount, an eye-watering sum if you are drinking, but somehow this seems to be forgotten when your glass of fresh mint water is regularly filled, your deck chair moved to wherever suits and the pool is blissfully child free. Everywhere you go, an army of helpful, friendly staff are ready to accommodate your every whim with the selfless patience and charm so typical of Arab hospitality. Highly recommend. Just make sure you get out and see a bit of Oman too....
