Boxy but good
Hotel a little out of town but near train station. Good basic hotel with very helpful staff and clean, recently redone rooms. Room I had was a wee bit pokey but perfect for lone traveller who is only really using the room as a crash pad.

Not impressed
Room was basic, which was fine for the price. But the room was dusty, walls were dirty looking and the curtains looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. Overall, the feel of the room left me wondering if the sheets or bed clothes were clean. for the price, I would have expected basic, but clean
Location is quite central, a few minutes walk from city centre and marina

Painfully ugly room
Hotel was so so with less than spectacular service. the free internet was nice. Overall, considering the service, the painfully ugly room, and the mediocre location, the hotel was overpriced and not satifactory but if you’re out of options it gets the job done. Ciao
Traveller's tip on shopping
There were second hand huts selling usful things at superlow prices down by the sea near the principe station. make sure to bargain for about 1/3 of the original price asked if not less.
